The 5th National Healthy Food Festival was held on August 24, 2025, at the International Conference Center of Shahid Beheshti University. The event brought together government officials, food producers, entrepreneurs, top brand owners in the food industry, academic experts, and media representatives. It was organized by the Iranian Association of Food Science and Technology in collaboration with various public and private organizations.
According to Alifard Company’s Public Relations Office, the company was once again honored-just like in previous years-for its commitment to producing health-oriented products under the Sunich brand. Alifard received the official trophy of the “5th National Healthy Food Festival” in recognition of its achievements. Sunich has led the way in producing 100% fruit juices with no added sugar or sweeteners and without using concentrate. The use of pasteurization in production has enabled Alifard to ensure long shelf life while maintaining product quality.
The National Healthy Food Festival was launched in 2019 with the slogan “Together for Health” and the mission of “Improving Food Health Standards.” Its key contributions include introducing the latest health-focused products, classifying them into three categories-functional, beneficial, and harm-reducing-and raising public awareness about healthy eating.
In the opening remarks, Dr. Esmaeilzadeh, Director General of the Nutrition Improvement Office at the Ministry of Health, emphasized the theme “Healthy Food for a Healthier Life.” He stated:
“Food safety and health have always been a top priority for the Ministry of Health. Our goal is to support the production of foods that are both nutritious and longevity-promoting.”
He also noted the shift in dietary habits:
“Today, people are moving away from traditional foods and turning to industrial products. This shift highlights the critical role of the food industry in safeguarding public health. We must stand by producers to ensure that health-oriented foods become a staple on every table.”
Later in the ceremony, Dr. Azizi, President of the Iranian Association of Food Science and Technology, reflected on the organization’s legacy:

“Since its founding in 1985, our association has been the only professional body in this field recognized by the Ministry of Science, and we are proud to have achieved an A-grade ranking.”
